Not only is there a spread for every day of the year, it is full of all kinds of information for each day! A lot of research when into this excellent book! I should buy a second one as I anticipate this copy will become worn out!!!

    I love this book, i am currently starting in May, the spreads are different and thought provoking. I particularly enjoyed the Freedom Spread on page 156 with questions about freedom of person and political opinion. For each day of the year there is a spread along with layout design. At the back of the book are an index of spreads with title headings such as Animals, Cinema, Creativity, Fairy Tales, Finance and Legal Matters, General Advice, Goddess and God, Grief,Sadness and Moving Forward,Health and Well-Being,Holidays, Home and Family, Literary, Love and Romance, Mythical Creatures,Nature,Occult and Esoteric, Out of This World,Self-Knowledge, Sensual, Spiritual. Under these headings are many different spreads, I chuckled through the Zombie Apocalypse Spread under Mythical Creatures. This is a great book for a tarot reader who wants to explore tarot in depth with both humour and seriousness. Thank you Sasha Graham.

I ordered this via Kindle at first and found that I also had to have the paperback so now I can always carry it around with me but I have the actual book to write in and flip pages on and put stickies on.

    I really enjoy this book! The titles of the spreads may sound a bit "trendy" but they go deeper than meets the eye. Sasha Graham was very creative in crafting this book. She found an interesting event specific to each day of the year, chose a Tarot card that aligned with it - defined the card on that particular page, then illustrates the layout - and asks the deeper questions of life in most of the spreads.
    SO, even though the spread titles can seem a wee bit trite or trendy, dig more deeply, READ the significance of the spread and the ensuing questions. There's a plethora of spreads from which to chose and a large surplus of categories from which to choose.
    This is a REALLY nice book!

    This is a fun book. You can choose spreads for a personally significant day (like your birthday), for a specific subject, or do one a day for practice. Sasha has provided great historical trivia to go along with each day and designed a spread that corresponds with it. Not only that, but she assigns a tarot card that represents the mood of the event and spread of the day. This is also a wonderful inspiration for designing your own spreads, phrasing questions, and looking at new ways of interpreting cards. Highly recommend!

    excellent book that offers up a mix of different tarots spreads covering everything from love to money to zodiac and holidays. there are interesting little facts and tidbits for each day which are just as interesting as the spreads. only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that all spreads are 5+ cards and most are 10-12 cards long, hard to give the reading the attention it deserves on a daily basis.

    When I first saw this book I thought, interesting, but do I really need it? I was doing just fine with a 3 or 5 card Past, Present, Future reading each day. A daily reading is unquestionably a time tested way to learn the Tarot. It is The way to learn to “Know Thyself”. So 365 Tarot spreads sounded over the top to me. I’m on a budget, and though I’m a glutton for books and decks, I limit myself to those I can’t do without and this one turned out to be irresistible. The question is the key ingredient to a good Tarot card reading, these questions are about as juicy as it gets.
If you are brand-new to Tarot this is not the book for you. As a beginner, you should start out by pulling one card a day and keeping a journal. Once past the stage of the beginner it's time for a book like this one to help you spread your creative wings.
    There are spreads that include Animals and Cinema, Fairy Tales and Finance. There is a Lawsuit spread, and a Celebrate Like a Queen Birthday Spread. There is a Limiting Belief spread and a Party Planning Spread and my favorite so far, the Hidden Desire spread. There is a chapter for each month and a spread for each day, but you are free to just jump into the inspiring index and choose a spread at will.

    I have used this book daily since I received it. It is a fantastic way to gain a deeper understanding of the tarot and how it tells a story.

    It also will help readers of any skill level deepen their practice and see the diversity of the stories the cards can tell in our lives. One of my favorite elements is the included daily trivia. Each day has a topic or theme inspired by history and that has given me something to meditate on, paired with the day's reading, each day.

    I had an advanced galley copy of this book, and loved it so much that I purchased the book myself and have shared with friends.

    I can't recommend this book enough.

I think they meant you to do the spread on that day to learn different spreads. But I prefer to do specific spreads for what is being asked.

    Outstanding book of wildly diverse and interesting tarot spreads - and, oh, so much more. Wonderful insights for each day of the year, and each page has something fascinating to learn. Not just about tarot or particular cards, but - for example - whose birthday or event a particular day is/was (and the spread based upon that person or issue) or other not-so-trivial esoterica. The author has such a wonderful sense of humor. I just love Sasha Graham's books about tarot, and this is a great one. They are written by a funny wise modern woman who is as familiar with tarot as cell phones and the internet, not some century-old mystical society of stuffy Victorian men.

    I bought this book for my (still) early exploration into Tarot. One of the hardest things for me to do as a beginner was decide what to ask the cards beyond the basic spreads which come in the book with your deck. This book is tremendously helpful in that regard. The spreads vary in size and scope. I don't always have time for a nine or ten card spread, so it's nice to have some five and six card options. While some of the questions become a bit repetitive, you can always find a different spread to try. The intros for each day's spread are almost always interesting. The individual card info on each page is really tremendous and has offered unique insight on many occasions. My only complaint is that because I like the aforementioned card info so much, I wish it were indexed but it's not, so you have to get lucky to find info which matches. Highly recommended all in all.

    I think this is a helpful book. It provides several ideas for spreads and a variety of topics. I only wish there were even more spreads and topics! I would say this is a great starting point, especially if you're just starting out with tarot as it has snippets on each card and how they can be interpreted and the like. It's definitely not the end point though and I would suggest looking up what spreads other people are using and I wouldn't hesitate in adjusting the ideas in this book to better fit your own philosophy or practice.

    The one minor complaint I have is that it can feel a bit too laden with "pop culture" references and such, so if you're looking for a 100% serious book this may not always work for you. I also wish certain historical events hadn't been used as a reference since it makes the spread feel a bit odd or disconcerting to me but both of these aspects could very well work for another person. Sometimes the wording of questions doesn't quite work either but your mileage may vary.

    Despite that critique I have still found it helpful and it broadened the scope of what I can do with tarot, so I definitely recommend it for this purpose.

    There are 365 really excellent spreads in this book, including why each spread is cast in such a way, relevant cards to lookout for, and why the spread is assigned to each day. Some of the spreads are meditative, some are faith-based, others are the "typical" tarot spreads that many clients want cast: "Is there prosperity in my future?" etc. I was also pleased that the five decks I own all "mesh" very well with these spreads. Overall, a very valuable book on tarot.

    I use these spreads to make up background stories for my fiction characters. You can use them with a tool such as Story Forge cards, or with a real tarot deck if you are adept at using the cards in real life. There are, quite literally, spreads for just about every situation you can think of (or desire to torment your character with).

    Oh! And they work good for doing tarot readings, as well :-)

    Some are deep and serious, others are light hearted. There is something for everyone.

    I didn't find that the spreads are very helpful in important matters. There are lots of very strange spreads that talk about zombie apocalypse or Cinderella. They sure are kind of funny, but I was looking for something more profound. I still feel I need to give it another chance though. Also I find the spreads have too many cards in them, most of them have 9 cards, and the card positions are sometimes redundant. So in the end they can be a little confusing.

    The book is simple insofar that it gives you a theme for each day’s spread, but it goes beyond that: it explains the story, tradition, meaning, legend, lore, etc. behind each theme / spread rather than merely saying, “Here ya go. Lay your cards out in this fashion because this book told ya so.”

    I highly recommend this book to any tarot practitioner seeking daily guidance and thoughts for each day of the year.

    It's a great book and it's great for spread ideas! My only complaint is most of these spreads are like 10-12 cards each - which isn't a problem normally but for quick reads for clients I'd like to have more options than the typical 3 card spread. Other than that, this book is laid out well and is easy to understand. Some of the spreads are very obscure and not useful (to me), but there are 365 of them so there are plenty you will enjoy.

    I actually very much enjoyed this book. Sometimes I want to play with my cards a bit and am not sure on what I want to ask about, or just want to do something fun and not too serious. This book of spreads is super handy for just getting in there for a practice or lighthearted reading.

    I am not a huge fan of the 'pop culture' spreads (some are fairly dated), but they are really made up for with the useful spreads for various goddesses, sabbats, and astrological themed ones.

    Overall, an entertaining book for when you want to throw some cards but don't want to get too serious.

    I've browsed through this thick book of spreads and it looks like a lot of fun! There is a spread for just about everything I can imagine and everything I haven't. I can't wait to really dig in with my readings. So far my only complaint is that the print is not dark enough. The text is just fine but the layout of the spread is faint, at least for my vision. The illustration of the card that the author has chosen to highlight is also hard to see, (these cards are in black and white) so if she doesn't immediately identify the card with text, which for the most part she does, you have to read her entire description, which a beginner who isn't familiar with the card at a glance may also have to do.

    Super fun book. I don’t use this book everyday but it has a wide variety of spreads that cover a lot of topics ( finance, releationships, spirituality, etc.). Quite a few of the spreads are loosely themed around pop culture references or figures ( a Twilight themed “Love Triangle” spread comes to mind) and some of those can be a *tad* corny but overall a happy purchase. I applaud the creativity and originality overall- there are 365 spreads in this book, and the author did a good Job of including lots of variety. Her writing is straightforward and easy to follow as well as her instructions for how to lay/read the spread and what each card represents.If you are looking to spice up your readings or are sick of the Celtic cross This book is a good reference. Paperback but feels very sturdy and I believe will hold up well over lots of use.
